I have a 16-bit BMP file I can send you. If you want it, tell me where to
send it. I should tell you that it is a 1280x960 pixel BMP with 16-bit
colour depth. It was created from a .jpg using Netscape to turn it into
Windoze wallpaper. Its 2,401kb in size.
I will update my copy of GIMP and the bmp plug-in and see if I can load the
image.
