The menu refresh problem (that happened with detached menus that didn't
get updated when the active image was siwtched) has suddenly returned.
How to reproduce: load an image, detach (say) Filters/Logulator, create
a new image (indexed...) and switch the active image. The menu items
sometimes stay grayed out even when they shouldn't.
The problem is two-fold... sometimes the menu just isn't refresh (xfreresh
restores correct look), and sometimes it allows me to call filters on
images they are not designed to work on (i.e. the menus are enabled for
images when they shouldn't).
