I use the gimp-2.9.7 ppa of Ubuntu, and there is no /usr/local/share/locale directory and no gegl-0.3.mo in my system. I did not succeed in installing gimp from source. On which system did you install gimp from source? I compile from source and it installs in /usr/local/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/gegl-0.3.mo ___ gimp-docs-list mailing list gimp-docs-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-docs-list
