The first problem probably might be caused the 'Plural-Forms:' line of the
header information part of these PO file. Try running make validate-el after
editing the line of filters/animation.po and menus/colors/auto.po as:
-"Plural-Forms: nplurals=2; plurals=(n != 1)\n"

I've got two issues with the greek translation of gimp-docs:
1. There are 12 unities
a) xml/el/menus/colors/auto/equalize(color-enhance, autostretch-hsv,
normalize, c-astretch, white-balance).xml and
b) xml/el/filters/animation/spinning-globe(burn-in, waves, optimize,
playback, rippling).x
