[Gimp-user] python plug-ins not getting loaded

Hello, I'm trying to use a python plugin I downloaded from the plugin site. I copied it to $HOME/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins; restarted gimp. NO JOY The plug-in browser does not show the script available. Looked over the pluginrc. Register entry not there either. Nor can I find the plug-in in the
