Re: [Gimp-user] Where to get a huge bunch of Brushes?
You can also use Photoshop brush files (*.abr). Although I don't know if they fully functional in Gimp, but the basics should work. ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] Help installation, 2.6.1-html-en.tar.bz2
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Thanks for the directions, they seem a bit linux-centric for me dozing over Windoze, and failing to mention that. If I can unpack a tar to an HTML, will my Windoze make such a difference? For windows, first install gimp help 2.6 from sourceforge and check that it works. http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html Then if you desperately want v2.61 unpack the archive. Use whatever you want but peazip works and there is a windows version. then the (default) location is C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\help\en screenshot here. http://imgur.com/bsAoI -- rich (via gimpusers.com) ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] Edit text problem?
I made a banner with a transparent background and put text onto it. There's only 1 layer- the background. It was saved as a gif. Is there a way to edit the text in it again because I can't edit it now? signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

It was exported to GIF, which does not remember anything about layers, for example. Is there a way to edit the text in it again because I can't edit it now? You cannot change your image back to a text layer, but you can still change it. It would probably be better to start again, and to save your image XCF, before exporting also to GIF. signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
