Re: [Gimp-user] Gimp in Unity

For those people using Ubuntu 11.04, Unity is the default environment in which they will be working. I very quickly removed Unity and installed Gnome on my computers. You could also choose the old classic Ubuntu from the login screen without any removal/install actions. You could also select Ubuntu classic in System Settings - Login Screen and it will be default for all future logins. ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
[Gimp-user] Color
For a person’s signature, I used the paint brush tool to make small changes to a text font and then saved the image with a transparent background in .xcf file. How do I now change the color of this image from black to another color? Lock the alpha channel in the Layers dialog (Lock next to checkerboard at the top) and paint over (you don't even need to be accurate, even bucket-fill will work). ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

Thank you so much for helping me! Despite looking hard, I could not find the solution. Thanks again.
