I've made a simple animated gif and what I wanted to do was have a word
appear as the last frame. But the text box remains blank, though the text is
black and the gif is red. Is there a way I can add text? What am I doing
wrong? Or what do I need to do?

I am using windows and want to grab a window, I use the following method:
1. ALT + printscreen (copy);
2. use GIMP for a new file;
3. Crtl + v to paste.

Yes, there is.
But I have not yet found a way to _move_ an anchor point.
Switch back to design mode and anchor points can be dragged
easily.

But I could not find any help about the meaning of the
letters which are used in combination with %.
I could only derive a few from the given examples:

brush size (the one set when Gimp starts) by editing some rc

But I can't remember exactly how I did it.

I want to extract all pixels of a specific colour (to be more precise
look a certain colour). I am finding that there is some variation in
the colour. so if I try select by color. I only get a subset of the
pixels.
