[Gimp-user] Problem with deleting a part of a layer
Dear All I have created two layers of a same picture. I want to delete a part of one of those two layers, but, even in spite of using the clear command, it does not disappear. I want to add text to a picture. However, whenever I insert some text, the letters appear with black and grey pixels and I would like to have only black pixels. Select a rectangular area and extend it as the 2 vertical edges of the rectangle fit the 2 vertical lines. Then choose the colour, select the fill tool and pour the paint into the selected area.
