So that's my question in a nutshell. I will be getting a new external hard
drive later this week. My father and some friends told me that some programs
can run off of an external hard drive so that you can use the same program on
multiple computers without having to install the program on all
print management to delete an existing printer?

FF1.5.0.9 running under FC5: no visible difference.
Your problem is NOT a FF/Linux issue.

I want to create a graphic ala an animated gif but need to write the
output as an mpeg or avi or some-such.
Can this be done with the Gimp?
Is there a better application to be using? (Suggestions?)
Thanks.

Can someone help me install help on the GIMP program?
When I press F1, I get a dialogue box saying that the help files
are not installed. Where are these files located on the WEB?
Thanks

The brush selector has brushes of different sizes. In the brush
options, click on the brush icon. It hides the selector. It wasn't
obvious to me, either.

Right on! I just moved to FC1 and 1.2.5 is what's there.

However in the second (where tdimg .../td are all on one line, IE
