[Gimp-user] paint with patterns
Is it possible to use the airbrush (or any paint tools) to paint with the patterns? Thanks, Helen -- using Linux, SuSE 10 ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

Not with the paint tool, but you can set the clone tool to use a pattern source. --- Helen [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Is it possible to use the airbrush (or any paint tools) to paint with the patterns? Furthermore, if you want specifically the airbrush, you can do that with layer masks. Fill a layer above the one you want to paint with your pattern, create a layer mask for it, and select Black (all trasnparent). Then use paint on this mask with white, using wahtever tool you want. js -- -- using Linux, SuSE 10 ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
