Is there a filter that will make a halftone image look like a newspaper image (made up of a fine structured pattern of dots)? I need to do some newspaper ads but have not been able to find a way set the linescreen in my images. I've tried various dithering techniques without success. What I'm looking for is the type of output that a Postscript printer is capable of: being able to set the angle and frequency of the dots in the image.
