I want to select an area that has one straight edge.
Basically to use the freehand select tool to cut out pieces of an image
that the fuzzy select won't work on.
One side is straight and the other part I can delete.

I suggest entering QuickMask mode, then drawing (with the pencil tool and
white color, using shift+click to draw lines from one point to the next,
then floodfill tool to fill the polygons.)
