Subject: creating patterns
Hi,
I try to create a pattern, using a part of a JPG-image.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean...
I already did
first it has to be seamless or it looks bad.
but you should be able to save as .pat into the gimp pattern directory
and then load it up from there to use as fill.
i'm not exactly sure what you need to know.
Hi,
since it wasn't understandable what wrote, here once more, what I try:
I have a JPG-image. I want to save a little part (16px/16px) of it as a
pattern (*.pat).
This works only sometimes and I don't understand why it doesn't work in
most of the cases.
If I eg. create a 16/16 selection of

Propose to me how I can get the list information via egroups without
downloading the ads. It may be possible, I don't know. I know I can
strip it out
...but I bloody don't want to download it.
There are those sitting on a t3...
Even on a T3, I still don't want to download (well, accept) SPAM
just on principle. BTW, I don't like egroups.com for a simpler
reason than advertisments. I just prefer .org and .edu domains
and think orginizations
It says in the gimp manual. In the layers dialogue, save the layer
name as foo(200ms) and layer foo will display for 200 miliseconds.
Rather simple really.

mvh,
Hi all!
I have an image and I want to add fog to it.
What's the best method to add a fog-like effect?
I thought about channels but I don't know how to get fogs with it.
I'm unexperienced.
Thank you!

Hmnm, I thought I had fixed that with 1.201, but this seems not to be the
case. Anyway, this is a bug, just do a
touch
I did make distclean but the same happens. I attached listing (hopefully).
Would dropping in the gimp-1.201 blib/lib/Gimp.PM file into the gimp/blib/lib
directory cure this or is this not the same gimp.pm that it is looking for ?
I didn't fetch my tarball from CVS, I fetched it from
I have been looking for free true-type fonts, and I have found
many web sites out there. The one thing that they have in
common is that they have them all listed *individually*, and not
one of them (that I have found so far) have all fonts in one big
file that I can just download and extract.
