Has anyone used gimp v.1.1.27 with perl 5.6?
FYI gimp is working fine but when trying to compile perl modules for gimp
the compilations fails due to unavailability of PDL.pm on the system.
I downloaded the PerlGimp modules from Marc Lehmann's website

Some distributions deliver PDL without it'S ppport.h file. Just install
PDL yourself in that case.

distribution and had to upgrade glib, gtk, Gtk-Perl, Gimp-Perl, PDL before I
could get 1.1.19 to build cleanly. This is not a simple or pleasant
experience, BTW - I would not do this upgrade on any machine running mission
critical stuff
