[Gimp-user] .dds format

Hello Gimpers. I am using gimp 2.6 and I am looking for a download so I canview and save .dds files. I have downloaded the plugin twice now and cant get it to show up when I try to save a .jpg to a dds. I have taken the dds.exe and put it into my bin/ plugins folder. I dont know what I am doing
