I am trying to export a 1 bit bitmap image as a windows .BMP so it can be
imported into CorelDraw for laser engraving. When I do the import to CorelDraw I
get the error "Invalid Header" when I try to import into LaserScript 5.3 I just
get the outline of the image.
I create the bitmap from the

That is correct. I erred in clicking "Add attachment" thinking I had to do that
to attach the screenshot I had already uploaded. Little did I know that the mail
user program would then insist on another attachment and not give me the
opportunity to re-attach my

When I start gimp the window gimp is in is too large in the vertical and I
cannot resize it. The lowest part of that window is buried behind my panel (even
if I hide the panel). Shrinking the horizontal dimension works fine but all
attempts to diminish the vertical dimension fail. See attached
contactsheet.py is another GIMP script (put it in your plug-ins folder).
It isn't as feature rich as indexprint but it doesn't require the installation
of Glade.

It will appear in "Filters/Batch/Contact Sheet".
You can specify the page size, number of rows,

What you really mean is: Why does the font not work on my installation?
As with your other post, not much information. What OS and version of Gimp?
Where did you install the font? It should go in your Gimp
I've had some similar issues working with large images, here's some
things I've found. First of all, if your image is in 16-bit precision,
your operations are going to be slow. GEGL is apparently optimized for
8-bit int and 32-bit float, so paradoxically you'll actually get a much
smoother

How do I restrict the number of palettes output to 16 for a PCX header?
Posterize addresses the individual RGB components.
Thanks, Paul
