1. Click on start, in the start search menu type run without quotes. 2. With the Run dialog open type in %TMP% and press enter (without quotes). 3. You should now be in the folder Partha described and there should be a file called __gimp-2.8-run.log. SAM ive done what you have suggested

please some one helpive been a user of gimp for 2 years now. i have never had an issue til now. i get an error message and gimp closes due to runtime error. ive removed the program and reinstalled and it worked for all of 30 mins then crashed again. i am running windows 7 pro and have plenty
