Hello,
I may be wrong, but I believe that in GIMP you manipulate images you open as xcf files, and you must export to get different file types, such as jpg. To do this you need to go to: File > Export As... In the export window that pops up, just above the help button near the bottom left of the window, click on "Select File Type (By Extension)" and scroll down to JPEG. The tutorial I was watching showed an earlier version of Gimp which allowed you to save the image as either jpg or png extension. However, this version seems to just give me xcf extension, which my Fantasy Grounds software does not recognize. Is there a way to save the image as either jpg or png extension? __________________________ Eric Kollman Thousand Oaks, CA eric.koll...@hotmail.com (773) 805-0588 mobile (805) 492-3804 home _______________________________________________ gimp-user-list mailing list List address: gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list _______________________________________________ gimp-user-list mailing list List address: gimp-user-list@gnome.org List membership: https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user-list List archives: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gimp-user-list
