behave the other round, compared to
Gimp. So maybe the expected behaviour also depends on the OS you use.
But even under Windows, nobody would expect that a dedicted export
routine would clean the dirty flag.

I have tried to find about usable macro recorders for Gimp and only read
about Gimpscripter, but there were no reports about whether it is really
working. So my question is whether there is any usable macro recorder
for Gimp.

I don't need to ne taught about

preferences more easily then in former times. Well, I guess this
approach also has its shortcomings, but one could try. Didn't the Open
Office developers proceed this way lately?
