Tablet support is platform-dependent - what operating system do you use?

[Gimp-user] wacom intuos tablet on gimp

2013-12-07 Thread Mochabear
Hi, I'm new to Gimp, and so currently I have the latest 2.8.10 version.
I have a Intuos tablet (not the Intuos Pro), and I can't seem to get Gimp to
recognize it.

I checked out other threads forums, but I either don't understand it or it
doesn't help.

My tablet is connected before I start Gimp, and I use the pen to start Gimp.
When I go to Edit Preferences Input Devices Configure Extended Input Devices,
I only see Core Pointer available.

Thanks
