I'm new for this list and I beg your pardon if following is a FAQ.
I've installed all gimp versions 1.3.x and all have the same problem with
Script-Fu - Buttons and some Logos
Even if I use the default settings all what I get is part of the shape of
the
button and the text is
Q1. Will Gimp 1.4 offer more features specifically aimed at prepress work?
Q2. The superb manual is now a tad out of date. When is a rewrite scheduled,
if ever?

As I have already posted in yesterdays' mailboard, there is some problem with
registering scripts in the script- fu database. 1.) Prompting the scripts' name as
commandline in the script- fu console does not create any impact, although the scripts
are stored in the proper scripts directory of
A! I see the problem. (I think)
Does this sound familiar? You are writing your own script based on the Gimp's
glowing_steel script. You made the changes you wanted and asked the Gimp to
show your new script (BrushedMaterial) in the Image/Filters/Render/ menu.
But it's not showing up.
