Hi all
I am having no luck installing gimp 2 from source.
I am configuring using ./configure --enable-shared.
This is not working.

Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libgtkhtml-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

I would like to upgrade to gimp v2 from v1.25. Does anyone know of an
apt or yum repository that has all the files to complete the upgrade?

Hi,
Just build and install gimp 2.0.1 and GAP 2.0.1 on my mdk 9.2 box. Gimp works
fine, but I can't get the GAP plugins in the image menu. I checked the path,
and even deleted my pluginrc to force gimp to rebuild it, nothing works. The
gap_ plugins are in the [GIMP]/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins

See http://gimp.org/unix/ for links to RPM packages of GIMP2. Please
do note though that GIMP 1.2 and GIMP 2.0 can
I have not been able to install the GIMP 2.0.1 via RPM (nor source) on
Fedora Core 1 Note: GIMP 1.2.5 is already installed on a FC1 Workstation.
I keep getting hung up on unmet dependencies which I can't find through
rpmfind.net.
In my latest attempt, I did a fresh workstation install of FC1

Hi,
There's no xsane-gimp package for gimp-2.0 yet and you
don't need gimp-print-plugin for gimp-2.0. So the
solution to your problem is to either keep gimp-1.2
installed and install gimp-2.0 in parallel or deinstall
xsane-gimp and
