[Gimp-user] gimp won't quit

I'm running gimp v2.2.10 on freeBSD v6 with KDE 3.5.2 gimp will let me close any window that I create but it won't let me close the windows that it opens when it opens, ie, The Gimp and Layers, Channels, Paths etc. I see a message that says: Warning - KWin Window with title The GIMP is not

I downloaded the latest versions of Gimp and it's GTK,but everytime I open it, it stops halfway through loading the program and tells me that it can't find a file called 'libgimp-2.0-0.dll' and that re-installing might fix it. I tried re-installing like the rest of the message said, but the
