[Gimp-user] How do I use measure tool in mm

Using Gimp 2.6.6 on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) Linux. I can't seem to figure out how to get the measure tool to show results in mm. So far the only way I have been able to figure out how to measure in mm is to: select the region I wish to measure, copy, create from clipboard, and then use one of the

Somewhere between GIMP 2.6.4 and 2.6.6, the map color range plugin disappeared, at least in the Windows build, and I think for other versions as well. Does anyone know whether this was inadvertent? Will it be coming back? It was a useful tool. I have recovered it from my old version 2.6.4, but
