[Gimp-user] quest about installing multiple versions of GIMP

usually install the new version of Gimp that came with the new version of my distribution( and I change distro version one time a year o more frequently). My quest is Is it strictly binding to unistall the previous version before install the newer one? Thank a lot Alessia

[Gimp-user] gimp and ubuntu compatible tablet

is that I'm searching for a tablet not expansive. I heard of the Wacon tablets but I'm wondering if anyone had used other tablets . Could you help me, also point me to an updated list of compatible tablets? Thank you in advance Alessia ___ Gimp-user
