Dear list,

I'm a usability consultant for GIMP, collaborating with Peter Sikking
(interaction architect).
To further improve GIMP, I am looking for users to have an interview
with. I would like to ask questions about their work. My aim is to
provide information and insight about how work is done in the field of
image manipulation. Information and insights will be used to further
improve usability, interaction design and development of GIMP. You can
find more information about my plans here:
http://gui.gimp.org/index.php/Usability

I'm looking for:

1) artists who do one or more of the following: edit or create photo
realistic works, edit or create images for the web, compose images or
create collages or similar work (e.g. photographers, digital artists,
...).

2) (visual) designers who are creating interface elements (e.g. icons)
for web sites or software.

If you'd like to participate or know someone who fits the description
above, please drop me a line. Don't hesitate to nominate yourself. You
can help me a lot by posting a link to a piece of your work (website,
portfolio, blog) and by briefly describing what you do (i.e. the areas
you work in).

Further information about the interviews is available online:
http://gui.gimp.org/index.php/Information_for_Interview_Partners

By participating in an interview, you will help improve GIMP for the
community and future users as well. If you have any questions, feel
free to contact me. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

-Tobi
