parallel folder
structure to what would normally be in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Alec\.gimp-2.6\{brushes etc} or ... these
folders exist but I keep empty.
D:\Program Files\GIMP-2.6\share\gimp\2.0\{brushes etc} I *never* put
anything here.
YMMV :-)

try to open the file in GIMP I get GIMP pattern plug-in could
not open image. I get the same for the brick textures pattern.
Has GIMP's support of PS patterns changed? The animal print page
says it should be compatible with GIMP 2.2.6+.

two adjacent pixels on a path are within threshold tolerance of each
other then fuzzy select on either is the same as fuzzy select on both.
