[Gimp-user] Convert text to path

Hi, I'm reading in the manual http://docs.gimp.org/en/ch07s05s05.html that I can convert tet to path, but I cannot find or I don't know how to access the text tools option Create path from text button they are talking about. What I am doing is double clicking on the text layer on the layers
