It should be uploaded to http://registry.gimp.org. Finding it on gimptalk - even if you know that it is supposed to be mentioned there - wasn't exactly straight-forward for me (only found a reply to the original announcement by searching for cursor) :) Correct but i'm not the author of the plugin,i do not even use it i just remembered was one available and few keyword to help to search it but is right that will be better if listed in the registry So i will upload the binary on my resource page on devianart ( http://photocomix_resurces/deviantart.com ) that may provide a easier download for windows users and then post a plugin description and downlad links link in the registry soon. I was just doing the same for other 5 plugins ( some because in the registry is missed or link for the windows version, others because are just no listed in the registry . Von: Alchemie fotografiche [EMAIL PROTECTED] you may browse the plugin board of www.gimptalk.com to find JamesH announcement with links for windows binary (and ,in case you want use with linux or hack, with the link for the source code ) It should be uploaded to http://registry.gimp.org. I'm convinced that this will have to be a third party plug-in, created by someone who does need it - it's a rather special requirement and probably not of interest for most GIMP users. [Gimp-user] A Few Suggestions for GIMP
Hi! I use this thread to suggest a function I really love to use in PS: open the open-file-dialogue by double clicking the empty image window Hin Tina! I already suggested something like that some months ago while GIMP 2.6 was still in development: have a look here: http://www.gimpusers.com/forums/gimp-developer/6400-simple-suggestion-for-the-UI.html finally it came out that this feature could be done technically but since it is not clear how that new empty image window will work in the future they decided not to implement this to avoid possible regressions. -- Bernhard S. ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

GIMP provides a rich API to extend it with plug-ins and scripts. The core developers are definitely not going to add this feature ever. If you need support for a file format, then you should look into writing a plug-in that does this.
