[Gimp-user] How to make a set of curves

2010-03-02 Thread Tőkés Ábel
Hello,

I would like to make a set of smooth curves that are near to each other
and all are
just slightly different from the neighboring ones. Two examples of what
I am thinking of
are in the banner of these web pages:
http://www.sopra-sa.com/index.php
http://www.advancedmetrologysystems.com/products.php

Is there a plugin for such effect? How would you do it in Gimp?

Thanks:
Abel

Hi,

I have found a script that seems to be written to the purpose I want:
http://registry.gimp.org/node/22016

I saved in in my C:\Documents and Settings\Ábel\.gimp-2.6\scripts\
directory,
and called Filters, Script-Fu, Refresh Scripts. I got an error message:
Error while loading C:\Documents and
Settings\Ábel\.gimp-2.6\scripts\script-fu-shapes_0.scm:

Error: unable to open C:\\Documents and
Settings\\Ábel\\.gimp-2.6\\scripts\\script-fu-shapes_0.scm

What am I missing? I am working on Windows XP Professional, and Gimp 2.6.7.

Thanks:
Abel

Solved. I copied the script to:
C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\scripts

I think the problem was the Á in the other path.
Windows doesn't allow me to change that folder name, unfortunately,
so I will have to use the above directory.

Sorry for bothering.
