Downloaded a pdf form from the American Kennel Club site. Tried to print it. Printer stalled. Then loaded it in Acrobat Reader and tried to print it. Printer stalled. Then took a screenshot of the form and printed that. It was too small to read the text. Finally loaded the form as grayscale, 600 dpi into Gimp. Saved it as ps. That printed fine.
