The tic tac toe boxes on your survey do not allow me to put the main reason for my choice before you.
I use only free software. Gimp and Photoshop seem to be roughly comparable. Photoshop costs big bucks and runs under Windows only. Gimp is almost free (you have to buy a book) and runs under Linux. So technical features of one or the other are irrelevant. Both have more power than I need. Both are good. Gimp lacks extensive CMYK capability which is unfortunate. My browser could not find the server for your feedback messages, hence this letter. -- John Culleton WexfordPress - http://wexfordpress.com Able Indexers and Typesetters Rowse Reviews _______________________________________________ Gimp-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
