Depends on the image, but my favourite is: Image:mode:indexed (Alt I) select generate optimal pallette 256 colours No Colour Dithering save as type PNG No doubt there are other options. Is there any way of optimizing an image for the web as you can with Adobe Image Ready or Photoshop6? I made an animated gif which is rather large(300k) and would like to reduce it.
