That's it ! Installed sane on my brand new MDK 9.0 and it works fine. Now, I
want to scan from the GIMP, so linked xscanimage in my ~/.gimp-1.2/plug-ins/
and it doesn't work ! Even tried to link it in /usr/lib/gimp./plug-ins/
and nothing more. What's the trick ?
