Been using Photoshop for over a decade, so I'm very aware of how to use Levels. :-) Apparently, Levels in 2.6 are buggy, so I'll look at upgrading to 2.7 soon. :) I was just wondering whether or not Levels work / don't work under certain conditions, and another user replied by saying that Levels are buggy in 2.6 (and that I should upgrade to 2.7). Will upgrade and provide feedback. Ubuntu 10.10, GIMP 2.6, image mode is SRGB. That's about it, really. I import a photo, for example, and sometimes the Levels work and sometimes they don't. Curves work, so I use them instead.
