Environment/app for managing graphics files

A little off topic but I'm looking for an application that will help me manage the graphics files that I create. I essentially need a thumbnail viewer. Compupic seems to display most everything except Gimp native format (.xcf) and the KDE filemanager (unless I'm missing something) doesn't suppor

Hey there. I'm trying to use the Gimp for creating EPS diagrams to be included in a LaTeX document. Unfortunately, every time I try to save as PostScript with the EPS option, I get the error: Postscript save cannot handle images with alpha channels How do I fix this pro
