Hi,
is it possible to remove a color when editing in the Indexed Palette
dialog? For example, i want to remove white color to make transparent
gif. I know i can use fuzzy selection tool, but i want to do it faster.

transperant gifs use whatever color is at index 0 to mark as transperan
From the silence on the matter of whether the GIMP has a precision
brush, am I to assume that I am stuck with this pencil for a mouse
cursor? No way to have it outline the shape and size of the brush
currently selected?
This is a feature I miss from Photoshop and would like to see in Gimp
soon. :-)

Well, it may not exactly suit your needs but in Gimp 1.1.24 (not sure whether it
was available earlier) you can choose your pointer as cross-hair. And it can
optionally show a small representation of the tool you're actually using. Don't
know when we'll have the real precise pointers that also sh

by default it shows an icon of the tool, but you can set it to show the
exact brush size or a crossair like shape.
