A week or two ago someone asked about a small fonts called mini7 which
were only available for the mac. I stumbled into another page and found
two fonts which were almost the same (or aimed to be) as mini7. I forgot
the adress, so I've put them on my ISP:

But to my question. Since I'm still mainly a photoshop user I miss the
"Select Layer Transparancy" option you get when you right-click on a
layer. Is there a way to do the same similar thing with GIMP 1.1.18. The
magic wand is not what I want, since it would be very hard on
complicated patterns and stuff.
