Hi, I have written a new GIMP 1.1 plug-in, Resynthesizer, which when provided with a sample of a texture can create more of that texture. It can also be used to create tiles, remove objects from an image by replacing them with a plausable background, or apply themes to images. Resynthesizer is a much more advanced rewrite of an earlier plug-in called the Fixer.
