GIMP 1.1.28 is out there, and it has shoes too! ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v1.1/v1.1.28/ Changes are pretty much all bug fixes. Note, for packagers especially, that system-dependant configuration files (gimprc and friends) have moved to $sysconfdir. -Yosh
