Just wanted to let all those know who had tried to help me with my checkered
background and undo problem that it is now solved.  It seems I was the problem. 
I was pressing the wrong keys.  I really should be more careful.  Thanks to all
of you for trying to help me, I did appreciate it.

Nothing has changed, I wrote my explanation the way I did because it
wasn't clear how many times `undo` was being hit but Leanne was getting
back to `no work` left. I thought getting into saving her work could
ultimately save on grief :^)
