We (gimper.net) would like to become an official mirror of gimp.org. We
checked out some other mirrors, and they don't seem to be all update,
which is why we would like to have access directly to download.gimp.org
via rsync.
Also it would be great if we could get some "official love"

Thank you so much for the quick response!
We did not set it up yet, as we still need access to a current rsync
server. It seems like: rsync://mirror.umd.edu/gimp/ is not up-to-date,
if I am comparing correctly with download.gimp.org/pub/gim
