I had problems with drivers 3.05, but everything went smoth with 3.08 and
I'm with no problems with the 4.0 latest version, the only thing to remember is
to use the delete application before installing the new drivers, I guess. I
haven't tried the ASIO drivers although I installed

I don't have first hand experience on those Alesis units, but heard bad
things about the nano-stuff from them in other discussion groups. I was also
going to purchase those units until I read the bad reviews and prefered to save
more money for better units. Mostly the complains

I have done a small switch to change my soundblaster's spdif or my
Cd's spdif into my Gina, so far I only hear a click hen I change it. But
when I unplug the coax cable and plug it live to another device, even
the Ginas spdif output, I sometimes hear very annoying sounds and hum.
