This only saves a little typing in certain cases so it's a very minor
issue.
All tests are done 2.13.1 from ArchLinux official repo.

I sent this email yesterday to the git mailing list but I cannot find
it in any archive so I decide to send it again.
Does anyone know what has happened to the mailing list? I haven't
