[git-users] -v option for git log --grep

Is there a -v option for git log --grep? Many times I want to filter non-interesting commits (Merge point... from an svn import). Something along the lines of this question[1]. If not (as I assume is the case), is there a bug tracker for git, where I can open a request? [1]
