The server is clean, as we can see. No errors in the logs.
We did a tcpdump already, even this seems clean and looks like a normal
disconnect.

Both the server and the client are virtual machine in VMware.
But both run on the same physical machine, so there is no "physical" switch
between the machines.
I've migrated one of them onto another physical machine, maybe this helps.
