Hi Ajay,

We've integrated Siebel using CVS and it works OK.

Although Siebel provides a file for integrating with VSS, Siebel Tools
provides a hook so you can call any script executable you like. It gets
called whenever you check in/out a project and gives you a sif file of the
project you're dealing with. This script can do whatever you want it to do,
so as long as you know what you want to do with GIT, you should be OK

The only drawbacks are that it's a bit fiddly to get working the way you
want it, and that Tools will call your process for every project. So, if
you're checking in multiple projects, the process gets called multiple
times, rather than once

If you'd like more detail of what we do, let me know

Hope that helps
Scott
