I was reading the Git Branching (Branching in a Nutshell <http://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Git-Branching-Branches-in-a-Nutshell>) chapter in git-scm.com and was wondering about the picture for Divergent history <http://git-scm.com/book/en/v2/Git-Branching-Branches-in-a-Nutshell#divergent_history> .
