I'm trying to figure out how to do the "check status stuff" (I'm using Windows 7). When I type "git status" into the terminal (after having created this grit folder), I get this crazy stuff http://i.imgur.com/aYqBp8A.png . Then when I try to add README to the directory (grit directory), and then track it, I get errors. http://imgur.com/xxZJotJ
